I'm Dalma Szabo
founder, growth, product manager
If you’re in the trenches of building, I’d bet we’d have a lot to talk about.
Say hi
About
I’m drawn to the messy, in-between spaces, where data is noisy, markets are
unclear, and no one’s quite sure what’s next. That’s where I find opportunity.
I like to build things that matter, and I like to move fast. Strategy lights up
my brain. So does figuring out what users actually need (not just what they say
they want). I start with the problem, think big, and start small.
The throughline in everything I’ve built: structure from ambiguity, lessons from
failure, progress through iteration. Powered by tech. Grounded in curiosity.
Apps I’m building
Everyone can build now. Almost no one knows what to build.
Flower Fields
helps founders figure out which idea deserves the next quarter, year, or no
time at all. It isn’t another chat box. It runs the research chain, shows
the receipts, names the riskiest assumption, and is willing to say no.
13 years in tech, and I built
OH, a potato!
- a zero-waste, AI-powered meal planning app - while working full-time as a
product manager. I ditched the day job in spring 2025 to chase potatoes
full-time.
Bootstrapped to a She Shapes AI global award, an Apple feature, and a Good
Morning America spot.
Right now I’m deepening the AI so it does the planning for you, with the
EU’s 2030 food-waste cut as a tailwind.
I’m looking for partners: retailers, researchers, podcasters, anyone serious
about the kitchen. Come find me.
Ideas I’ve put to paper
I started
Problem Solved?
to stay close to real problems, real users, and the awkward gap between what
people say they need and what products actually solve.
It’s back in motion now. I’m using Flower Fields to pressure-test ideas before
they turn into roadmaps: the hunch, what the evidence says, the angle worth
pursuing, and what I’d do next.
